Why do homosexuals get so mad over the word "gay"?

When I think something is stupid, I sometimes call it "gay" and I see absolutely nothing wrong or mean about that but homosexuals get so worked up over it. HELP! horseback riding 1st time!!!?

It will definitely be fun. Be sure you are at a reputable barn and that the instructor knows it's your first time out. In the beginning you'll learn how to mount the horse and how to act/walk around it. Then it will probably be walking (the horse does the walking) with a trainer by your side holding a lead. You'll learn how to hold your body, where to point your head (that's the important part) and how to let the horse know what you want. Horses buck, but beginner's horses walking the ring won't. For the first 10 minutes you'll spend most of your effort just staying in the saddle. Then ....magic! it will become fun as you get into the rhythm of it all. Remember a horse is basically a timid prey animal, always on the lookout for something coming to eat it and always eager to follow the lead of whoever is in control (that will be you). Every one has a personality, and they'll almost surely give you a gentle animal who is great for beginners. It is very, very unlikely that you or anyone will fall off while walking with a trainer leading the way. Even 4 year olds can stay on easily. Best of all -- it's fun! next lesson, y ou migh start to learn to trot and steer the horse without a helper by your side. Good luck.

My Friend Blames Himself for my Boyfriend Hitting Me?

I recently got out of a bad relationship with a guy I had been dating for about a year, we are both 19. I broke up with him because he started getting physically controlling and during the very last argument we had he gave me a swollen lip and a huge bruise across my chest. Well our last argument was of course pretty bad, he accused me of cheating on him with my friend Lance (who I’ve known my entire life) . I told him the truth, that I never cheated on him and that me and Lance had been friends for years and there was no reason why I couldn’t hang out with him anymore. That’s when he started getting physical and I broke up with him. That pan should have held half the batter. I think your oven was too hot, or you overcooked the cake. You should remove the cake after cooling for 10 to 15 minutes. If you wait too long it sticks to the pan. Go around the edges gently with a butter knife to loosen the edges and then flip out the cake onto your hand. Place it on a rack. Did you put parchment paper on the bottom? That really would have helped release the cake.

Learning to ride a horse for a city dweller?

I am very interested in horseback riding and have some experience. I live on the outskirts of Portland with many stables nearby and several offer lessons for $20-60 an hour. My question is this: Once I have learned basic to intermediate skills will many stables let you pay a fee to ride one of theire horses for an hour or two without lessons or do you have to board your own horse to do that? Neighbour false complaints?

I need help for my daughter, she is being accused by her neighbour of making a lot of noise, loud music and so on, these complaints are completely unfounded and untrue. She has now receive a letter from her estate agent saying that they will be speaking to the landlord and will be starting the eviction process. The thing is the lady next door has made it very clear that she does not like my daughter and has lied about her children being locked their room and screaming all night. She also says that my daughter is throwing things in her garden and has now got the other neighbour to back her up. My daughter is so sad as all of these things are not true and she does not know where to go now. What to wear horseback riding when you don't have a lot of money?

It doesn't really matter, you don't need any fancy clothes.. especially since you're a beginner. You really only need "fancy" clothes for showing. If you're taking lessons.. all you really need to wear in the summer is a t-shirt, jeans, and riding boots (make sure they have a heel). Most stables will have a helmet for you to wear during lessons, but it doesn't hurt to get you're own. They may also require you to wear a body protector: but I would just see when you get there. They will tell you what you need: the first day is pretty much just learning what you need to bring, and what's expected of you. Have Fun!(:

Why does my cake fall in the middle?

this is going to be really long, im sorry, but i really need help. I have love horseback riding my whole life and all the toys i ever played with and all the movies i ever watched involved horses (im 14 now so thats not really the case anymore) and i starte taking riding lessons when i was 7 but then stopped after a year and then i started again last september. i started out going once a week just for my lesson but then i got a new instructor an i asked her if i could come out and help around the barn sometimes and she said yes so i came out on mondays and wednesdays then one of my friend started taking lessons on fridays so i would go out on fridays too. now i go there everyday after school, even if i plan on riding or not, and i stay till 6pm (i get out of school at 2:30). i just dont go on saturdays or sundays except when we have to get ready for a show. im there most of the time now and my friends want me to hang out with them more but i would rather be at the barn and this week i havent been able to go there as much cuz i had to go to a bunch of parties... i havent been there since teusday (its saturday today so it has been like 4 days)... and i was at a sleepover party thursday night and was up and running around and active till like 2am and then i went to sleep an woke up at 9:30am (friday) then went to a party from 5-9pm that same day. i got to sleep (at my house) by like 11 that night. today (saturday) i am supposed to go to a tennis lesson from 2-3 then a party from 5-9pm but im not going cuz i had a breakdown and was crying hysterically a lil while ago from being over tired. usually i go to bed at like 9:30pm. but when i was crying i started thinking about how i havent been to the barn and i started crying even harder and i wanted to go to the barn right that second to be with the horses, but i didnt tell my mom that, so heres my question now that i gave u some background info: do u think i have anxiety? or do you think im just over tired? thank u!!!!!

How to get away from my dad!?

I am 14. I was living with my dad all the way until i was 13. It went down hill between us when i was 11. He constantly yelled at me for things i had no control over. He would threaten and even hit me once or twice. "I tore the family apart" i was "a little ***** like your mom" Those were only some of the things that would be shouted at me as i was pushed and yelled at. He drinks and when i asked him to stop he accused me of calling him a drunk. He takes what i say out of context and threatens me with it. At the begining of 7th grade i had had enough and i ran away after school. I was only pushed to that after months and months of fighting with him and getting blamed for everything that goes wrong. He would come home frustrated and no one knew when he was going to blow. But i was always the subject. I thought running away would bring the cops attention to my father but they laughed in my face. Along with my dad. They had no idea what kind of hell they were dropping me back into. For that whole year i was in and out of deppression, cutting myself, and had post dramatic stress symptoms such as numbness to the world and that thing where your body wont move when you are awake. Where you open your eyes but your body still is in a sleeping state. It was the scariest thing that would ever happen to me. I would get it a couple times a aweek. My mom finally threatened him with a lawsuit if he hadnt handed me over. Which he did. I am getting better but the transition from the big city to small town life was hard too. But i finally have some friends and am going to my highschool three times a week to workout with them. But this whole last year has been constant fighting. Back and fourth. Now he says he is taking me back. He wants to drag me back to the city for offering him money in an email so i can go visit my ailing grandmother. He got mad and said he was taking me away from my mom. But i wont go back to the depression and the numb feeling. I just got over it. I stopped cutting months ago. Im finally fitting in and doing things i love. Its like he doesnt want me to be happy. What can i do to get away from there. He has friends at the police station in chicago and has placed himself in good tidings with powerful people. I feel trapped. I just cant go back there. I was even considering suicide when i was there. Please someone tell me what to do?

Help? Back problems???

OK so my lower right side back has been hurting like aches like on and off for about 3 weeks. Like it will hurt for like half the day one day and then do the same thing just 3 days apart ish. But today it wasnt hurting and when i was horseback riding (which i usually do - just havent been in 2 weeks) i had to reach over while trotting and pick up a frisbee off the pole and when i did that the same place that my lower back was aching before, got this really sharp shooting pain. Well, i'm home now and it reaaally hurts badly. What could this be? All i did was reach over and not even that forceful or anything. I cant go to the doctor. So help? Also, i noticed recently that my shoulders are uneven. My right one is lower. But people are just saying that its cus im leaning and putting my weight on that side (which is the same side as my back.) How to make Betty Crocker Chocolate Icing better?

So I have the Betty Crocker chocolate icing. I realized its not exactly as smooth or soft as I would want it to be. I make the cake at night, let it cool, put on the icing, put it in a plastic container over night, wake up the next day, and the icing turns out really hard and bleh. Well I do not have an soda or carbonated beverage of any sort in my house and therefore have resulted to using a 1/4 cup of Plain Fat Free Yogurt for every egg called for and have otherwise followed the directions precisely. What I am wondering as my cake bakes is what will the end outcome be. Will it be the right texture and density? Have any of you had experience with using Yogurt for Egg substitution before and if so what else does yogurt work well for?

I'm going to sue a girl at my job for libel and slander. She falsely accused me of stealing her car keys and then messing with her car. I clearly didn't mess with it just because I rather focus on my job than other things. When this incident happened she called the cops and all of her friends. Just before that she had confronted my sister and said it was me. Even though I was home already. I left my house to go speak to her and the police officer that I didn't have anything to do it. She said that she thought it was me because I am the person that least likes, and all of her friends said it was me as well because of that. I thought the problem was over after we made things clear, she now is still accusing me that it was still me and I somehow was wearing gloves while doing the action. I don't understand why she's doing all of this. I know its just affecting me, and I just want to everything end.

Which 2 Hawaiian Islands to visit? My honeymoon is exactly 1 year from today.?

I will be 25 and my fiance' will be 32, we very much want to relax but still enjoy a party night. We want to spend 11 days and 11 nights split on two islands. We are looking for seclusion more toward the start of the trip, but beauty always, some night life when we choose, but do not want anything too touristy. We are not too big on history or extreme botanical sights (more like all around basic beauty but don't want to focus all day on it). Musts though are horseback riding on the beach, a helicopter ride, snorkeling, would like to see some dolphins, wind surfing, fishing, see a volcano, swim by a waterfall, and go to a luau. And at least on one of the islands we would like to stay in an ocean front room (most likely during the seclusion time). I'm 20 years old, I surrendered to Christ about 6 years ago. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Just recently, I made a new friend who is a male 22 year old with a 3 year old daughter. And I hang out with him a lot. I do not "like" this guy, nor do I drink or do anything like that with him or any of his friends. However, my "Christian" friends told me that I should not hang out with him, nor would God approve. They accused me of being easily impressionable and told me that it would be irresponsible as a Christian to hang out with a non Christian. They threatened our friendship with it. However, I spoke to God this morning and I felt at peace with hanging out with these people I do feel God is going to use me to reach them. However, I don't plan on forcing myself or my God upon him. My friends refuse to speak to me until I rid myself with these 'heathens" that I call my friends. Jesus himself hung out with prostitutes, tax collectors, and all about bad people. And I realize I'm not Jesus. But these are people. And Jesus loves people. and I love people. And I pray before I hang out with these people, as I pray before I begin most activities. But is it really such a sin to hang out with certain people? Do Christians really have a right to decide who is worthy to walk into the kingdom of God? Shouldn't we just love on people, love people, and show them them amazingness of our God?

Now she has done it again the other 2 are in FL now with her and my kids do not know yet we didn't know last year till the post of facebook! If I move out will we break up?

We have been dating for a year and a half. I moved in about a year ago, and at first it was pure bliss. But then everything went down hill. He became so needy, i did all the laundry, cooked 2 meals a day, dishes, everything in the house, i felt like betty fricken crocker house maker! no offense to anyone but that is not how i imagined my life. Anyway it was not only that, we fight about everything, i mean everything. Its like if one of us isn't annoyed the other one is. Im not saying I don't love him, I do so very much and it is breaking my heart to see us so miserable. Anyway, we have been talking about these issues and have finally came to the conclusion that I should move out for a couple months and see how that goes.
