Can I substitute regular mustard for ground mustard and regular vinegar for balsamic vinegar for my ham glaze?

In that recipe, the vinegar and ground mustard basically make mustard. The difference in that and yellow mustard is the turmeric used to color it. You can use regular yellow mustard, dijon mustard, spicy brown mustard, any kind you have. For the brown sugar, you can substitute honey, too. Honey and yellow mustard make a really nice glaze.
