Neighbour false complaints?

I need help for my daughter, she is being accused by her neighbour of making a lot of noise, loud music and so on, these complaints are completely unfounded and untrue. She has now receive a letter from her estate agent saying that they will be speaking to the landlord and will be starting the eviction process. The thing is the lady next door has made it very clear that she does not like my daughter and has lied about her children being locked their room and screaming all night. She also says that my daughter is throwing things in her garden and has now got the other neighbour to back her up. My daughter is so sad as all of these things are not true and she does not know where to go now. The council have been no help as she is a private tenant, she lives on her own with her two young children and does not know what to do. please help.
