What to wear horseback riding when you don't have a lot of money?

It doesn't really matter, you don't need any fancy clothes.. especially since you're a beginner. You really only need "fancy" clothes for showing. If you're taking lessons.. all you really need to wear in the summer is a t-shirt, jeans, and riding boots (make sure they have a heel). Most stables will have a helmet for you to wear during lessons, but it doesn't hurt to get you're own. They may also require you to wear a body protector: but I would just see when you get there. They will tell you what you need: the first day is pretty much just learning what you need to bring, and what's expected of you. Have Fun!(:
