Need recipe for silver white cake using self-rising flour OR can I use yellow cake for a chocolate chip cake?

I want to make a chocolate chip cake but i only have about 2/3 cup all-purpose flour. The betty crocker recipe says to not use self-rising flour. I was wondering if anyone can give me a silver white cake recipe using self-rising flour OR can i use the yellow cake recipe using self-rising flour in the betty crocker book and then just incorporate the 1/2 cup chocolate chips into the batter? Please respond soon, need to make the cake tonite for party tomorrow. Thank you
