Do you think he truely loves me or is Chris Crocker right?

My friend just had me listen to a video on youtube that chris crocker had made. He was saying that when an ex wants you back it is because he wants you when your strong to try to bring you down, and that if he is trying to bring you down that he doesnt truely love you. He said that jealousy is a sign of controlling not love. I do believe what he said because it sounds true to me. He said that if someone has done this to you it is likely that they dont love you. My bi ex has done this to me. When I finally got a boyfriend after being alone for the summer, after our break up he claimed he wanted to be with me and that he made a huge mistake. Looking back now I think it was just because he knew I was with someone else. Also he gets really jealous and called my last boyfriend a piece of ****, and that I deserved better. He sais that he loves me and that he always will and that he will always be there for me. But Now im wondering if he even does. Does it sound like it to you?
