What temperature should i bake this at?

im planning to make some cupcakes with the betty crocker cake mix, however i only have one cupcake trays which makes 12 cupcakes, however the mix makes 24 cupcakes. so i decided i would do 12 cupcakes and make a small cake. i dont have any dark metal pans so ive decided to use a glass pan however if i were to use that it would be a different heat setting(350) and for the dark metal pan it would be (325). does it really matter what heat setting i set it to? and which one would you recomend setting it to?
