Can horseback riding mess up your menstrual cycle?

i just got my period in january for the first time, then i i didn't get it for the next three months. In may i got it normally, then it finished. But after a week or so still in may, it came again and lasted until yesterday, now there is no more blood coming out, only the brown stuff. I know it is possible to rip your hymen but my parents are threatening to stop horsebak riding if it is messing up my cycle. pleeaaaase if it doesn't mess my cycle up it would help alot if there was a site or something to prove to my parents. Thankk youuu whoever finds one saved my life.
